APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN A TO Z IN-HOME TUTORING, LLC., AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY TO PROVIDE SES SERVICES FOR TITLE I SCHOOLS 2007-2008
Description
A to Z In-Home Tutoring will provide one-on-one tutoring services to eligible students attending Title I schools not meeting AYP. Tutoring sessions will take place in the home, no more than twice a week with each session not to exceed 1 hour. A to Z In-Home Tutoring will provide ESE services and LEP services.
Recommendation
That the Sarasota County School Board approve the agreement with A to Z In-Home Tutoring to provide SES services to eligible Title I students.

Financial Impact
Sessions are to be paid at an hourly rate of $49.35, not to exceed $987.00 per student for the duration of the agreement. The provider is to be paid from Title I funds as stipulated in No Child Left Behind.
***The Title I SES Tutoring Program is currently in its setup process based on the DOE approved Sarasota Provider list and enrollment / eligibility mailings to Title I Parents. Once the providers have obtained executed agreements with parents and district, 310 contracts will be executed based on the provider's hourly rate and number of students with completed agreements.
